For travelling around Bedford and Bedfordshire there are various kinds of transport, including buses, trains and taxis.  Trains in Bedfordshire offer both local and international services.  Whether you want to go to Bletchley, London or Paris, from Bedford train station you can!  Buses in Bedfordshire run seven days a week and service the town centre, towns and villages of Bedfordshire, as well as regular daily services to places further afield such as Milton Keynes and Cambridge.

By car Milton Keynes is just 20 minutes away and that's how long it will take you to get to Junction 13 of the M1 along the newly created A421 dual carriageway.
