Shopping Centres

The Harpur Centre is a shopping centre in the middle of the pedestrianised centre of Bedford. It containsmany high street shops including Boots, WH Smith, TK Maxx, New Look, Top Shop, Ann Summers, Superdrug, Argos, Fraser Hart, Primark and many more. The Harpur Centre has cafes on the top and ground levels and is connected to its own carpark.

 

The Arcade runs from High Street down to the pedestrianised area of Harpur Street. There are many lovely indepent stores within The Arcade including, Kitchenalia (baking ware, kitchen accessories, cake making and decorating), Walberrys (shoes, handbags and clothing), Arcadia Sweetshop (traditional sweets), Charisma (gifts, smellies and jewellery), Maysons (clothing) and Planet Clothing.

Church Arcade begins opposite The Arcade on the other side of Harpur Street. Within Church Arcade you'll find a bakery, butcher, health food store, travel agent as well as Millets and Clarks (which is on the corner of Harpur Street).

The Interchange Retail Park is just a short drive out of Bedford towards Kempston, with free car parking it has a number of leading retailer incluidng Next, Clarks, Matalan, Toys R Us, TK Maxx, Pets at Home, Argos Extra, JJB Sports, Brantano, as well as food outlets such as McDonalds, KFC and Burger King.
