You can travel quickly in and around the Bedford area by bus, with regular routes operating within an efficient bus lane system. A new, state-of-the-art bus terminal for Bedford town centre is a key part of the new developments. It is also possible to travel to a number of UK destinations with Stagecoach. Park and Ride in Bedford

Driving into Bedford? Park and ride makes a lot of sense – easy to use, easy on your pocket and easy on the environment. Just park in the spacious car park at Elstow and the easy-access buses will whizz you quickly into the town centre, 6 days a week, up to every 10 minutes. There’s CCTV on site and a waiting room with toilets.

It’s free to park. Just pay on the bus.
