Where are we?
Bedford College’s main campus is situated at Cauldwell Street on the bank of the River Great Ouse; a stone’s throw away from Bedford’s bustling and vibrant town centre. Our dedicated Sixth Form Centre is adjacent to the main campus. The College is accessible by road and has a large student car park, where students pay just £1 all day. The College also has several secure bike shelters and can be reached by bus or train, with the bus station only a 5 minute walk away and a 15 minute walk away from the train station. We also have the Gas & Plumbing Technology Centre and Vehicle Training Centre both situated in Kempston. Frequent buses run from the town centre to the nearest bus stop on Woburn road and the there are cycle storage racks and roadside parking at the sites.
 
In 2009 we joined forces with Shuttleworth College, www.shuttleworth.ac.uk in Biggleswade, to offer the biggest selection of course choices in the county and have now added many land-based courses to our curriculum such as horse management, horticulture, animal sciences and agriculture. This campus is situated in a conservation area and has its own library, information technology centre, sports facilities and halls of residence. Shuttleworth College is accessible by car and has student car parking, the nearest train station is located in Biggleswade town centre. Shuttleworth College also runs a bus service In conjunction with Bedfordshire County Council, which offers a network of routes, providing transport to and from the following locations, depending on demand.
